I have been studying and practising traditional Ashtanga Yoga under Eileen Hall of Yoga Moves since 2003. I fell in love with yoga and am deeply committed to studying the many facets of the yogic tradition. I have studied yoga extensively and have had intense training with teachers in Australia, India, Bali, Thailand and Canada.
As a qualified prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher and as a mother, I believe that yoga during and after pregancy can be an incredibly empowering tool for women during the profound experience of birthing and motherhood.
I have also been a primary school teacher since 2001. I love bringing the joy of yoga to our young people. Yoga With Grace for Kids is a style I developed where children are encouraged to explore shapes using their bodies to build coordination, creativity and exploration. Yoga With Grace for Kids also works on developing concentration and relaxation techniques in a meaningful way for children.
There is a wealth of knowledge in the yoga tradition and the classes at Yoga With Grace incorporate elements of the teachings I have been fortunate to have passed onto me. I am forever grateful to my teachers and my teachers’ teachers…
